A Beautiful Day
The Air Temperature was 79F and The Water Temperature was 55F, there were quite a few boats out on the water and even a sailboat. Kids were playing and it was a beautiful day.

Sly Guy gets a good one with his Spiderman pole.
Rocco G. aka Sly Guy, 3 years old caught this 16" 1 lb 4 oz German brown using his Spiderman pole and power bait at Jenkinson Lake on April 10 while he was spending the day with his fishing partner which is his father.

Snow on the Dogwood Blossoms
Each year in Pollock Pines we wait for the snow to fall on the Dogwood blossoms. The snow on the blossoms is the sign that the last snow has fallen for the season and the boating season has begun. This year the snow fell on the blossoms on 5/9 now we can remove the boat covers and get ready for a great season.

On May 4, 2011 David F fishing at Jenkinson Lake, from shore at the first damn. Using Power bait caught this 5 lb, 26″ German Brown.

A Reel Beauty
Sarah Andersen 24 of Placerville caught an 22″ 3lb-11oz German Brown trout today around 4 pm on a dodger and a crawler fishing down around 40 feet deep on the wire.
